Golf TV ‘Japan Skins’ Social/TVC

Client - Golf TV/Iris Worldwide

With a tight deadline looming, I was given a week to come up with a creative solution for this promo. I was given one live action shot to show an animatic and I produced a style that allowed us to create a social promo that became the TVC as the client were so happy with the final result.

I made use of After Effect’s free plugin ‘saber’ which helped me achieve a neon laser look that complimented the cartoony ‘anime’ style we were achieving. I used a combination of 2D stock footage elements such as the explosions, cartoon smoke and speed lines and rotoscoped the players during key action shots.
